I switched my Laptop's OS to Linux Mint a few months ago. Since then, I haven't had experienced the common problems that has bugged me on my Windows. Although I admit I still encounter some problems but very much rarely compared to Windows.
As a result though I have forgotten some common commands /utilities necessary to troubleshoot Windows that are native to the Microsoft OS.
So before I completely forget everything I need to troubleshoot a Windows OS here's a short list (of what I can still recall).

- Ctrl-Alt-Del to enable Taskmanager - heaven forbid, if I forget this three finger salute then probably I got Alzheimer's already (Gasp!)
- Regedit - of course to call up the registry editor (Warning! use with extreme caution!)
- MSConfig - (I hate to admit it but I wasn't able to recall this until I asked my tech!) - to view and manage the startup config.
- GPEdit.msc - Group Policy Editor - I had to Google this one.
