Though I switched my personal laptop's operating system to Linux Mint, I still can't totally get away from the Windows environment.
Of all the varities and flavors of the Microsoft operating systems that I have tried and tasted thus far, Windows 7 seems to the most stable and less buggy.
Aside from being a memory hog, I find Windows 7 to be more secure and less prone to malware and virii incection. In fact, before I switched to linux, I haven't had a malware problem on at least three months.
With Windows 8 comming, what should Windows expect? A more stable and faster O.S.? But what abput the hardware requirements? How much Gig of memory would it require to run fast?
