Search for Effective Methods in Adding Twitter Followers

Today, Oct 31, 2012, is the starting date of my search for an effective means of adding Twitter followers. Not just any Twitter followers but Organic Followers!

Organic followers, meaning users who follows other users , not just for the sake of getting followers in return but because of interest for a particular topic, brand, activities and among others. Organic followers are the ones who would interact with other users. On one of my earlier Twitter account, I got as much as 6,000 followers. The interaction however is the same as when I got only about a thousand followers. Therefore having hundreds of thousands of followers that are non-organic (including spammers, inactive, bot-driven accounts) is just as good as have a few thousands of organic users.

Thus, my search for effective methods of  adding Organic Followers begins. To do this I created a new twitter account (@johntechnotes). Then I followed 130 users initially (100 using tweepi.com) and at the time of writing (about 18 hours after I created the account) I got 40 followers so far. Along the way I followed back those who followed me also.

I'll be posting on this blog the methods that I would use and the results. I'll be trying each method or combination of methods and how much followers I got from them. So keep posted, and you want to get regular updates follow me @johntechnotes.

Happy Tweeting
